Berry Park Retirement Village Community Consultation
Dates: Saturday 7th March & Sunday 8th March 2026, between 10am-2pm
Venue: Community Centre, Berry Park Gatehouse, 40 McFarlanes Rd Berry Park
Berry Park Village and its neighbouring development Berry Park Gatehouse has been operating from its site at McFarlanes Road Berry Park since 2020. Berry Park Village contains 162 dwellings and Berry Park Gatehouse, has 94 dwellings. Across both sites there is a network of community facilities to support residents which include outdoor areas, community halls, wellness centre, outdoor recreation areas and men’s shed.
The Expansion Project
The proposed Project involves the expansion of the existing seniors’ villages of Berry
Park Village and Berry Park Gatehouse with an additional 913 dwellings in the form of
seniors housing targeting people aged 55 years and over. A Preliminary Concept Plan is
provided in Figure 1.

Community Consultation is planned for Saturday 7th March and Sunday 8th March
2026 to provide an opportunity to review the proposed expansion project in further
detail as well as seeing the existing facilities that are on site.
